As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for representing three divisions electrification smart power, smart building, and E-Mobility in the Country to grow sales and market. Defining, planning, and ensuring implementation of product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy. Reporting to Local Sales & Marketing Manager, oversee all sales and marketing activities, and support sales organizations in driving sales and services of respective products

Your responsibilities

    • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to–market & product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions, product & price positioning as well as marketing plans.
    • Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Building an effective, capable, and high performing organization. Developing talent, appointing managers, and reviewing effectiveness.
    • Ensuring achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focusing on achievement of total demand orders (ABB and 3rd Party), growth margin %, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and requested on-time delivery.
    • Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Division/Product Groups. Preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market. Evaluating market opportunities and decides appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units where appropriate.
    • Ensuring profitable business growth in the domestic market. Ensuring a balanced growth through all product lines/product groups/business Units. Creating demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach. Implements Business Unit market pricing policy.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Understanding customer needs in the market by visiting customers. Ensuring the customer satisfaction surveys are executed; analyzes results and assists with corrective actions.
    • Developing and implementing product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with global Business Unit Marketing and Sales. Driving continuous improvement on NPS. Ensuring the resolution of customer issues.
    • Providing product and technical support to sales team.

Your background

    • Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (BSc, MSc), with 8+ years of experience in in a dynamic industry.
    • 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing working with medium and low voltage products, services, and solutions for several segments.
    • Proven track record in leading and growing a business within a county.
    • Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy.
    • Strong ability to drive and lead teams across different functions and departments.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
